The Home Care Company is an independent, state-licensed home care agency serving families across the Puget Sound.
For more than 20 years, we’ve worked with families during some of their most challenging moments. What they need most is simple: someone who shows up, communicates clearly, and takes responsibility for the care being provided.
That’s who we are. That’s what we do. And that hasn’t changed since 2018.
Our Founding Story
The Home Care Company was founded by Paul Hatherley after years of firsthand experience in the home care and senior services industry.
What he saw over and over again was an industry that often prioritized growth, marketing, and volume over accountability.
As a result, families were paying for care that didn’t consistently show up. Caregivers were overworked, undervalued, and unsupported. Communication was fragmented, and responsibility was unclear.
The Home Care Company is deliberately different.
We’re a lean, locally owned organization built around responsiveness, ethical decision-making, and respect for both families and caregivers.
